To learn new ways to approach collective intelligence

While majoring in journalism, I read and write a lot of articles and am constantly interested in social phenomena. I did a lot of research to do this task, but I felt that the way to get information was limited and I wanted to learn how to get more diverse and objective information.

The website Wikipedia is still unfamiliar, but I thought it was a big platform for collective intelligence and I felt interesting because it had the characteristics to improve my data research skills. Through this class, I want to learn about Wikipedia and collective intelligence, share knowledge with people and broaden my perspective.

Improve information collection and media literacy

Nowadays, digital media is used all over the world, I think collective intelligence has a strong influence. I want to approach collective intelligence by reading and editing Wikipedia articles directly, and I also want to contribute to the power of knowledge. I am looking forward to improving my ability to collect information as I am exposed to information from many people's information.I am also looking forward to improving my media literacy skills.

What I have recently felt is that it is not easy to sort out true information in the flood of information. I want to develop my ability to identify accurate information by looking for objective information and articles. I look forward to future classes and assignments.
