what are the benefits of learning about and writing on wikipedia? it's all about digital literacy, learning how to effiecient use the internet-era tools. I think this is very useful. first, I can learn lots of things. economy, politics, society and so on. it's very interesting. second, I can learn writing skills. writing skill is important. but many times, I have no chance to write. but wikipedia will provide this.

1. What did I learn while editing Wikipedia?  The most important thing I learned from editing Wikipedia is the joy of participating in collective intelligence. Before the class, I only used Wikipedia. But I was given the opportunity to edit Wikipedia through class. It is difficult than I expected to edit a steady every week. But I was pleasantly able to edit the idea that my hard work contributed to making a better encyclopedia. The joy felt when I found a topic that lacked explanation became the driving force for editing. I thought it was a small group of people and I thought it was their job to create a collective intelligence. However, as I edited, I realized that spontaneity and enjoyment were very important factors in creating Wikipedia. 2.
