 Summary

Wikipedia is a community. As with any community, this community is created by a variety of customs, perspectives, and cooperation. We need many disciplines to understand the various social phenomena that we often meet in a series of lives, and sometimes to help other people. Wikipedia is not a perfect place, or utopia. However, to get to that area as much as possible, many people discuss online and constantly revise articles.
A writer was fascinated by Wikipedia in choosing a research topic. Unlike blogs, Wikipedia has people collaborating and discussing kindly. A writer also thought that the interaction between people was similar to writing a book in creating an encyclopedia called Wikipedia. In this article, a writer tell us about the past when first entered Wikipedia, made a draft, discussed it, and talked about it.

Interesting

I was impressed writer's story because I often get help from Wikipedia too. I also think Wikipedia is not 'a space which is perfect', but 'a space tried to be perfect'. We have to actively participate in discussions in Wiki, and contribute to knowledge of people all around the world.

Discussion

Can we trust all the information provided by Wikipedia, a community where people from various fields can participate? To what extent should we believe them?

 1. Summary  The Internet has changed our culture so much. First, through the Internet, we can meet people regardless of distance. People in each country communicated over the Internet and reduced the barriers to distance by creating relationships. Also, the Internet has let us stay away from books. When we want to find expertise, we can get it from Wikipedia or Google. Even information in books can be obtained through e-books, reducing access to libraries and paper books. 2. Interesting point Further to the above, our brains are gradually degenerating because we don't have to remember information. 1. What did I learn while editing Wikipedia?  The most important thing I learned from editing Wikipedia is the joy of participating in collective intelligence. Before the class, I only used Wikipedia. But I was given the opportunity to edit Wikipedia through class. It is difficult than I expected to edit a steady every week. But I was pleasantly able to edit the idea that my hard work contributed to making a better encyclopedia. The joy felt when I found a topic that lacked explanation became the driving force for editing. I thought it was a small group of people and I thought it was their job to create a collective intelligence. However, as I edited, I realized that spontaneity and enjoyment were very important factors in creating Wikipedia. 2.
