What is Wikipedia? / Park Chan Young (박찬영)

1. Summary

Wikipedia is one of the world's most popular websites. Wikipedia is founded in 2001. Wikipedia is free to use. Wikipedia's content is used on a variety of websites. Everyone can write Wikipedia. Forty million people are registered on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Wikipedia articles should be remarkable. The article should not be biased or personal opinions should not be included. Many references are recommended in the article.

2. Interesting point

It was interesting that Wikipedia's articles were about something remarkable. Notable topics are subjective ones that can vary from person to person. For this reason, articles may be limited, but they may be diversified because different people pay attention. I wonder which of the two will have a greater effect. I think it is the latter.

3. Discussion

Wikipedia should not be biased. But is it possible not to include any individual thoughts in the human-made Wikipedia? I wonder if you think you can maintain the middle ground with the power of collective intelligence. If someone posts information that is skewed to one side, someone will correct it, and if another person posts information that is skewed to the other side, another person on the other side will correct it. In this way, the process of keeping in the middle will continue.
