Wikipedia is one of the representative spaces for collective intelligence. In order to generate articles on Wikipedia, experts are not the only ones who can participate. Ordinary people can also participate in writing articles with specific themes, and develop articles through real-time interactions through comments. I can create a piece of news on Wikipedia and release it to people. Because of this participation and accessibility, Wikipedia is widely used by people.


On the other hand, in articles, especially issues related to news and social issues, timeliness and speed are important, and I think this is a weakness within Wikipedia.

1. What did I learn while editing Wikipedia?  The most important thing I learned from editing Wikipedia is the joy of participating in collective intelligence. Before the class, I only used Wikipedia. But I was given the opportunity to edit Wikipedia through class. It is difficult than I expected to edit a steady every week. But I was pleasantly able to edit the idea that my hard work contributed to making a better encyclopedia. The joy felt when I found a topic that lacked explanation became the driving force for editing. I thought it was a small group of people and I thought it was their job to create a collective intelligence. However, as I edited, I realized that spontaneity and enjoyment were very important factors in creating Wikipedia. 2.
