Why is Wikipedia less popular in South Korea?

Actually, I agree and agree that Wikipedia is very user friendly and easy to use.

But I also don't really like Wikipedia as a South Korean.
I think there are two main reasons.
First of all, Wikipedia offers a Korean version of course, but it is an encyclopedia portal that is not very Korean-friendly. There are some parts that have not been translated properly here and there, and the atmosphere and composition of the portal are generally exotic. I think it's still similar to why Koreans use Naver, not Google, as a portal.
The second reason is the existence of a tree wiki, which plays a similar role.
I also use Namuwiki, which is similar to Wikipedia, where users can create and modify documents, but much less regulation than Wikipedia. While there is a risk of being able to accommodate inaccurate or unprofessional information, there is also an advantage of being able to accommodate more fun and extensive knowledge. Korean users seem to find the advantages of Namuwiki more impressive.
