I think Wikipedia is less popular in Korea because of the development of various portals and platforms. There is a huge portal called Naver in Korea. Koreans usually use Naver to search. Koreans usually use Naver to search. It will be mainly after entering university that young Koreans use Google to find information. Wikipedia is more accessible when using Google in the process of searching information. However, many Koreans use Naver to search. In addition, as the era of video comes, more and more people are searching through YouTube. People turn on YouTube and watch videos containing the information to find a question or solution to something. Therefore, Koreans use Naver or YouTube a lot as a way to get information. Naver's services '지식-in' also help you get information very easily.


Also, trust in collective intelligence seems to be lower than in other countries.  It is hard to say that Korea's tree wiki, similar to Wikipedia, gives objective information. Therefore, when people think about Wikipedia, I think that Korean tree wiki has an influence. Also, the Korean education curriculum is not well discussed and collaborated among students, which makes it difficult for this environment to create collective intelligence. This is because the process of creating collective intelligence itself is not familiar.
