Creative Commons is a global nonprofit organization that enables sharing and reuse of creativity and knowledge through the provision of free legal tools. CC helps those who want to encourage reuse of their works by offering them for use under generous, standardized terms; those who want to make creative uses of works; and those who want to benefit from this symbiosis. CC licenses are copyright licenses, and depend on the existence of copyright to work.
"Wikimedia Commons" (short form "Commons") is a media repository that is created and maintained by volunteers. It provides a central repository for freely licensed photographs, diagrams, animations, music, spoken text, video clips, and media of all sorts that are useful for any Wikimedia project, the most well-known of which is Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Any freely licensed media file (images, sound, video, etc.) that is useful for any Wikimedia project can be uploaded.

I thought copyright could interfere with someone's creative activities. It is good to provide sources to actively demonstrate creativity. If copyright is not severe, freedom of creation is freer. Then it is more beneficial to society. However, infringing on copyright can infringe on someone's ownership. Like this, copyright has advantages and disadvantages.

What's good or bad about not having copyright?
