Summary

I read a document about "Don't Insult the Vandals."
The document says not to insult vandalists. "Vandals" are classified into two categories. One is the beginners who don't know what's better, and the other is the real vandals. The more common users pay attention to vandals and try to reverse their vandalism, the more enthusiastic they become. Therefore, more than necessary, it can be adjusted by blocking, protecting and reversing them. Many users use the function in Wikipedia to warn vandalists, but it is more effective when they use it firmly without mixing emotions with it.

Interesting

I thought it was inevitable to have some debate with vandals who seemed to be unable to communicate. I think I only thought 'We need to change their behavior and mindset'. But looking at this article, I've learned anew that the more emotionally we try to appeal and argue, the more virulently vandalism they practice. If we don't pay attention, they'll knock themselves out.

Discussion

Vandalism refers to the destruction of public facilities and cultural heritage. How does vandalism happen on the Internet?
