W14: After reading “Wikipedia:Did you know”/진신

 Summary:

The first time I learned about "Did you know?" was when the professor wanted me to add my mainline article here. But unfortunately "Did you know?" there is no Chinese interface. Displayed in DYK are new articles or extended articles selected through an informal review process. DYK showcases new and improved content by presenting a series of facts ("hooks"), some of them accompanied by images, which link to select articles. Thus, to nominate something to appear on DYK, an editor must either write or identify new content and propose an interesting "hook". DYK is only for articles that have achieved one of the following within the past seven days

Interesting

"Do you know?" As a part of Wikipedia, it also has its own rules and requirements. And it is a very complete system. "Did you know?" is a new article or extended article selected in the face of an informal review process. So this can be regarded as a more autonomous part.

Discussion

What do you think is the meaning of the "did you know?" page?

Comments

  1. Hello, 진신! If you mean that the meaning of the "did you know" page is the function of it, I think that it is to promote new articles. Unless there is "did you know" page, there is no way to recognize the articles that were uploaded recently.
