 1. Summarize - why do you think Wikipedia is becoming more accepted?

There is a variety of information on the Internet now. In the past, people passively obtained information from newspapers, TV news, and radio. But now, regardless of time or place, they find information themselves.

In this stream, Wikipedia has become an important channel for people to search for information. The amount of information varies because everyone in the world writes it by themselves. Also, the revision is highly reliable because it is actively carried out. This led to many people using Wikipedia.

Participation is the biggest reason for Wikipedia's power. Many people continue to use it because people directly participate and get responses there. Find information, write it, fix it, feedback with people and find it again. It is a virtuous circle structure.


 2. Interesting point

In fact, the use of Wikipedia is not so common in Korea. Instead of Wikipedia, it uses portal sites such as 'Naver' and 'Google'. However, portal sites have clear limitations. It's the fact that fake news cannot be distinguish. The seriousness of fake news continues to grow, and in the future Wikipedia is likely to attract more attention instead of the current portal site.
