W5. Do you think Wikipedia is right to reject censorship?
I think Wikipedia is right to reject censorship. Some parts require objective censorship because fake news reduces Wikipedia's quality. However, allowing external censorship may limit free information sharing. It is also questionable whether censorship can be completely objective. Some people, like me, may wonder why censorship is necessary in dictionaries that contain objective information, and on the contrary, some may wonder why censorship is reject. Come to think of it, news and newspapers we see are just media that convey objective facts. Nevertheless, there are several broadcasters and media companies, and the same facts are reported with different points. And they also strongly reject outside intervention. This is because freedom of expression may be violated. Therefore, Wikipedia should reject censorship, allowing the creation and editing of information to be free, and establishing its own countermeasures against misinformation.
