W9 Do you think Wikipedia is reliable? why or why not? / Han seung gu

I think Wikipedia is highly reliable. There are various reasons to increase reliability, and two of them are Cross Verification and Debate.

Cross-validation
Wikipedia, like a marathon, when someone edits a document, another person corrects what's wrong or makes up for what's lacking. Documents in Wikipedia have a process that cannot be edited or owned exclusively by one person. Wikipedia seeks to create an encyclopedia that all users can trust through cross-validation.

Debate
Systems such as user discussion in Wikipedia further increase the credibility of Wikipedia by increasing the distrust of information about Wikipedia. This means that distrust leads to the strengthening of cross-validation, which increases credibility. During document editing, there may be conflicts of opinion between editors. The editors who had a disagreement will be moved to the 'discussion' section. Discuss until an agreement is reached. If there is still no conclusion, it will be placed in the "Request for Opinions" category so that others can participate. The final decision allows managers to step in and choose opinions that as many people as possible can accept.
This is why Wikipedia's complex and active discussion system can be trusted more than the media held by a few authorities.
