Week1: Why are you taking this class? What practical skills do you expect to gain from attending it?

Why are you taking this class?

Last semester I also attended Professor Piotr's class, and through one semester of hard work, I learned the editing methods of Wikipedia, which made me feel very accomplished. So I want to continue making progress through this lesson.

What practical skills do you expect to gain from attending it?

The First:

Wikipedia is the world's largest and most popular reference book on the Internet, ranking it among the top ten most popular websites in the world.

In addition to accumulating a lot of information, Wikipedia has also helped me understand a lot of Wiki ideas in the process of writing them. Nothing is absolute, nothing is completely wrong, and there is no complete right. Don't jump to conclusions about what is right and wrong. Before you define anything, find a firm basis!

In fact, I know I'm not very good at Wikipedia, which used to take a long time to complete. So this semester, I hope to be more efficient in editing Wikipedia.

The Second:

In addition, I want to improve my English communication skills. I am Chinese, and I have spent more time and energy studying Korean because I studied in Korea. However, as we all know, English is very important. I am not very good at English, especially it is difficult for me to express my opinion in English.

I hope I can improve my ability to express myself in English by writing a blog.

I hope it's a pleasant journey.
