Wikipedia is receiving a lot of criticism. It is criticized from various perspectives, such as the usefulness of reference materials and their suitability as encyclopedias. Some professors even ban the use of Wikipedia as a reference. Wikipedia, which can be edited by anyone, is often compared by critics as a dystopia. Unlike critics, however, Wikipedia advocates argue that it is a powerful tool for promoting and empowering responsible personal expressions. The way content is produced has definitely changed in the platform called Wiki. From a few elites produced to everyone produce.
There is controversy over whether this is good. Wikipedia is an incomplete realization of the vision that the encyclopedia has long pursued. Some also expressed concern about the debate, which is a characteristic of Wikipedia. And they point out that technology can inspire someone but also be a barrier to someone. We should also take this criticism from Wikipedia and study how knowledge is created and competed.
The reason for Wikipedia's success lies in its collaboration capabilities, not web page technologies, such as networking technologies and modularity. To understand Wikipedia, we need to focus on community and culture. The well-meaning social norms combined with Wikipedia constructively promote Wikipedia collaboration. Wikipedia is still the subject of debate, but it is growing with new projects.

It was a new perspective that technology could be a barrier to someone. Even though someone is definitely a person who can contribute to Wikipedia, there must be someone who is not familiar with the technology and has difficulty accessing it. Beyond the barriers of technology, we should create ways that everyone can contribute to collective intelligence.
