W8 : What do you find difficult and enjoyable?

1.     What do you find difficult?

There were many difficulties editing Wikipedia. The reason why it was so difficult was that Wikipedia was unfamiliar. Because it has to be translated into English, I paid a lot of attention to whether it was grammatically correct and whether it was the right style for online encyclopedias. In addition, it was difficult to find and attach photos that did not have copyright. It is now adapted to weekly Wikipedia edits. So I'm having fun and editing.

2.     What do you find enjoyable?

It's fun to choose a topic of interest and read what's already been edited and find something to add. As I read, I can see things I didn't know, and I feel rewarded to fill in the article so that it can be more complete. Completing one whole piece of writing with others also played a part.

3.     Discussion

Do you have any other features that you would like to add to Wikipedia?

Comments

  1. Youngsil, I read your writing well. I also have a lot of worries about grammar when editing Wikipedia. Another feature of Wikipedia that I'd like to add is expanding the citation source. There are more platforms with various contents, and I think the citation source can be more diverse if the level of reliability and censorship of the platform increases.

  2. Youngsil, I read your wiki edit story well, and I think I had similar difficulties with you. When I think about the features I want to add to Wikipedia, I think how about making the allowable range of images more relaxed. I wanted to add an image like the brand's logo, but it wasn't my property, so I couldn't.
