W12: After reading"Wikipedia:Article development" / 진신

 1. Summary:

Every article starts with an idea in the mind of a contributor. You can create articles about anything, as long as they belong in Wikipedia. If you don't have time to write a complete article, you can fill in the "stub" first and then add it slowly. To write a good article, you should start with four parts: research (finding related articles and finding related books) Writing, and Finishing touches. But before creating an article, be sure to confirm whether there is the same article or stub. In this way, you can save resource space and discover existing content, and you can establish good links with other related articles in the future.

2. Interesting:

More pictures, links, and reference materials can be used to add the finishing touch to the article. In addition, remember to create links to your article from related articles and subjects. This includes any redirects your article may need. This helps people find your article and may even help you find a related, already-written article. You can also create redirects from related subjects or subtopics which do not yet have their own articles (redirects with possibilities)

3.Question:

After more than half a semester of study, we seem to have understood the basic editing methods of Wikipedia and the guidelines of Wikipedia. During this period of editing, what do you think has given you the deepest impression?

Comments

  1. I realized that editing wiki was easier than I thought and harder than I thought. The editing barrier seems to be relatively high for those who start editing wiki for the first time. This is because there are so many functions, although the main functions we use are limited to a few. And as Wikipedia is a space where many people around the world collaborate and edit, there are many sanctions. Therefore, editing requires sufficient objective data and consideration, and then editing.
