W12: Thoughts after reading "Wikipedia:Article development" . WANG XIAOLING, 왕효령
1) Summary
After reading it, I have a deep understanding of how Wikipedia articles are developed, such as each stage of the article, development articles and featured articles. In addition, I learned in detail how to write articles on Wikipedia, find related articles and books, and so on. In fact, when I edited Wikipedia before, I didn't know where to create the article that Wikipedia needed to create. I often searched and found that Wikipedia already had this entry. But after reading this Wikipedia, I finally know where to find a good way to create articles.
2) Interesting point
What surprised me was that the original evaluation of Wikipedia articles was peer-reviewed, which may not be the same as peer-reviewed in real life. It's really interesting!
3) Discussion point
After reading, I think Wikipedia articles are worthy of being a source of academic papers. What do you think?
I read your writing well. There are some great articles in Wikipedia that have gone through some of the stages of article development, but I think there are some articles that need to be revised that are unreliable. Because many people are given free editing rights. It is good to refer to when you want to see ideas and thoughts on related topics, but I don't think it can be the source of academic papers.
