W4: What are the pros & cons of using Naver versus Google for research purposes? - KIM JINA
I'm in favor of using Naver and Google for research purposes.
We often write reports for research or exploration purposes. When I write a report, I often use Naver and Google to view data from various sources. Google can also check data from overseas sources, allowing users to find data on difficult topics. Naver is easy to find various issues and events in Korea thanks to its local website. I usually get information about domestic data and daily life through Naver. And I use Google to collect information such as academic materials, papers, and foreign articles. This is very useful when writing a report.
When writing a report, it can be a problem if you don't reveal the source of the data I researched or steal it without permission. However, it does not matter if the author correctly indicates the source of the data. In addition, authors should be careful that most of the content is not data descriptions, but rather their thoughts on the data and results of further research. As long as this is maintained, it is not a problem to use Naver and Google for research purposes.
