WEEK11 - After reading following materials : wiki’s FAQ

The link to this week's reading is Wikipedia's FAQ. Questions are divided into questions about the project itself, copyright questions, technical questions, and questions about the communal community. In the question area of the project itself, Wikipedia explains the overall information about what is available and what information can be uploaded. In the copyright section, questions about licenses, such as uploaded files and images, and questions about the scope and rights of content use are the main focus. Technical questions explain how to upload images, videos, and information, and technical ways to share more quality content. The communal community area shows the answers to questions that can be asked for overall explanation and help.

What impressed me was the technical question area and the copyright area. I wanted to make a new article about Korean artists and upload pictures of various works because they were related to paintings. But since the exhibition was closed, I didn't have a chance to take pictures and I was worried about copyright, but it was good to see how to solve it.

I'd like to ask my classmates who are studying with me, is there anything else you were curious about while editing besides the answers attached to the FAQ? In my case, I received a few warnings because I didn't attach the title and date of the article with the link when attaching the reference. I wonder if there are any such cases or questions.

Comments

  1. I have also received warnings like incorrect date format, etc., and I responded promptly and corrected them. I think it is a normal and pleasant thing to receive this kind of warning. Because he will help us make better articles.
