People like to post on Wikipedia. What is the reason? In my view, it is their intellectual vanity. People want to say what they know about something. Wikipedia is the perfect tool for such a thing. Each person has his or her own area of expertise. Wikipedia is a playground where such people can play freely in their respective fields.


Interesting)

Wikipedia's motivation is fascinating. People like to do something more than they think. That's why Wikipedia has been the most powerful tool to date.


Question)

What if people's interests diverge from Wikipedia? What is it that people don't look for? What can Wikipedia do to survive?

1. What did I learn while editing Wikipedia?  The most important thing I learned from editing Wikipedia is the joy of participating in collective intelligence. Before the class, I only used Wikipedia. But I was given the opportunity to edit Wikipedia through class. It is difficult than I expected to edit a steady every week. But I was pleasantly able to edit the idea that my hard work contributed to making a better encyclopedia. The joy felt when I found a topic that lacked explanation became the driving force for editing. I thought it was a small group of people and I thought it was their job to create a collective intelligence. However, as I edited, I realized that spontaneity and enjoyment were very important factors in creating Wikipedia. 2.
