W1 : Why are you taking this class? What practical skills do you expect to gain from attending it?/ MINJI JEONG

- Why are you taking this class?

It's been a long time since the ubiquitous society arrived. In this society, the importance of information is growing day by day. In line with this, the importance of collective intelligence is also growing. We are now achieving many people who have not been able to do so before with collective intelligence. Typically, information and collective intelligence play a solid role in solidifying civil rights and freedoms. That's why I took a group intelligence class.

Also, I think the representative platform of current collective intelligence is Wikipedia. Because Wikipedia is an information platform for users around the world. People from all over the world share and discuss facts in various fields that penetrate the world as well as information about their cities and countries. I also want to practice sharing information with them and accepting objective information.

- What practical skills do you expect to gain from attending it?

The ability to gather and analyze information is expected to improve through collective intelligence lectures. All the information in the Internet media today is not true. False information is even circulated through the media, which has to deliver objective facts to the public. In the flood of information, we will be able to develop intuition and the ability to grasp objective information.
In addition, we expect to improve document organization skills through the process of organizing collected information and creating a new article. This will have a positive impact on the writing process in various fields. Also, I think it will be an opportunity to deal with a lot of information and reflect on my values and attitudes towards certain information or situations.
