W7 : Good Faith Collaboration - KIM JINA
Summary
This book contains a study of Wikipedia's culture. The book is based on Dr. Reagle's dissertation. This book describes how Wikipedia works and the problems that arise. The author goes beyond most of the descriptions written about Wikipedia and says that Wikipedia should be studied in his own terms. He also argued that the book deserves to be added to the text of the ethnographic literature on new digital media, stressing the historical importance of wiki technology needed to develop Wikipedia projects.
Interesting point
This book is really many help to people who are unfamiliar with Wikipedia is think. In particular, this is still strange new editor and editor that can adapt to less experienced Wikipedia editors to.The book also has a traditional editors were also mentioned about the new editors to have attitude.Wiki for the first time editing my edits made when someone I actually useless information handling and have been wiped away all bummed out, see this book, I think it would be great.
Discussion point
As I said above, I had an argument with another editor in the editing process. All the important things people feel are different, but I think the essential content is useless and I deleted it every time I added it. Eventually, I couldn't do any more wiki editing that I had spent some time with. As there are many editors, there are likely to be many people who have experiences like me. Have you all experienced anything bad while editing Wikipedia?
